Global sports partnerships, talent management and recruitment specialists Sporting Group International (SGI) is excited to announce a collaboration with Meister Europe (Meister) in a move that’s designed to forge closer links between European and Japanese football.

Meister is a Japanese football business based in Germany and founded by Japanese football legend  Shinji Okazaki.

Leveraging SGI's global network and Meister's deep-rooted understanding of the local market, the partnership aims to enhance the development and commercial opportunities of football in Japan by focusing on three areas:

  • Talent Development and Career Progression: Combining SGI’s extensive network and expertise of European football with Meister’s unique insights into the Japanese market, the partnership will identify and nurture emerging talent and offer pathways for players to excel in both domestic and overseas clubs.

  • Promoting Japanese Football in Europe: The partnership will support initiatives that elevate the presence of Japanese football in Europe, fostering cultural exchange and creating opportunities for Japanese players, coaches, and clubs to thrive on the European stage.
